🏺Week 2 – Ancient Clay

Week 2: Art Around the World – Ancient Clay  |  July 12, 13 & 14
10:00 am – 12:00 noon  |  Ages 7-12  |  Class fee: $50

Learn the ancient pinch, coil, and slab clay-techniques to create fun works of art in clay. Greek and Chinese pottery will be studied. Clay art inspired by both cultures will be made from self-hardening and fired clay.

Lunchtime Art Activity: $10 per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs. noon – 1:00 pm) Students bring their own lunch and have fun creating a different art project each day. Weather permitting, activities could include walks in the sculpture park, daily craft projects, group mural, or a visit to the museum galleries and family center. (Add to cart during registration.)

Registration: Registrations are taken in order received with payment. Deadline to enroll is one week before class begins. Class size is limited.
Discount: Members of Cedarhurst receive a 10% discount on all classes.
