The annual Bed-Turning Program showcases additional quilts as well as antique quilts the members of the Cedarhurst Quilters have in their collections. In order to heighten quilt appreciation, The Cedarhurst Quilters group shares stories of the quilts and describes details, techniques, and other information about patterns. Each year, the program presents a wide variety of quilt patterns, styles, and origin stories.

ABOUT THE EXHIBIT:

Welcome to Down on the Farm, a playful quilt exhibition designed to delight kids and families alike! Bursting with color, creativity, and countryside charm, this Cedarhurst Quilter’s Challenge brings the sights and sounds of the farm to life—one stitch at a time!

The Cedarhurst Quilters meet the first Thursday of the month. They host a ‘mini-workshop’ at 9:00 a.m. and a regular business meeting at 12:30 p.m. Throughout the year they plan annual retreats and create ‘service quilts’ that are donated to local charities.
