The culminating event for the district wide Black History Month program in our Mount Vernon City Schools learning centers was February 22 at Casey Middle School Gym. The annual program is a collaboration between Cedarhurst and District 80.

We are so proud of all the talented students and the hard work by so many educators that makes this program a success! A big thank you the National Blues Museum, our program partner for this year’s Blues In Our School program!

Robert Nelson, Creative Director of Community Engagement & Education, and the amazing Lady J Huston did a phenomenal job in the school assemblies.
