Mackenzie Melemed: Keys Across America

Mackenzie Melemed

American pianist Mackenzie Melemed brings his Keys Across America recital program to Cedarhurst, celebrating the United States’ 250th Anniversary in 2026. A recipient of the 2022 Avery Fisher Career Grant, Melemed received three degrees from The Juilliard School, performed twice at Carnegie Hall, and appeared five times as one of the youngest pianists to perform at The White House. His eclectic program, spanning 150+ years of American compositions for the piano, includes works by Aaron Copland, Charles Ives, Amy Beach, and others. Melemed speaks about the composers and shares stories surrounding the repertoire as he takes you on a journey from the landscapes of the wild west to the seascapes of New England.
