AMAZING AFTER SCHOOL ART

During the month of November students participating in Cedarhurst’s ArtTime after school program at the Shrode Art Center learned about the artist Gustav Klimt (1862-1918) and his painting Tree of Life. Klimt was known for using gold leaf on the surface of his canvases as well as semi-precious stones. The featured art was created by K-5th grade students using metallic gold paint to create their own unique tree in a similar style.
