Blue Go-Go is a series of twelve large-format, archival pigment prints. The prints were created from original, hand cut collages.

The imagery, cut from vintage science and nature encyclopedias, is at once recognizable, and evokes a sense of nostalgia; yet draws the viewer deeper into a deliberately frenetic space.

Anne Lemanski is a full time studio artist residing in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. Previous to the move to North Carolina, Lemanski’s roots stem from Detroit and Chicago.

She is a former resident artist of the McColl Center for Art + Innovation, Charlotte, North Carolina, and Penland School of Crafts, Penland, North Carolina. Her work is in the permanent collections of the U.S. Department of State, Art in Embassies collection, Karachi, Pakistan; the North Carolina Museum of Art, Raleigh, North Carolina; Asheville Art Museum, Asheville, North Carolina; and Fidelity Investments Corporate art collection, as well as several private collections.

Lemanski is the recipient of the 2010-11 North Carolina Arts Council Fellowship, and was nominated for the Louis Comfort Tiffany Grant. Her work has been featured in numerous magazines and blogs, and exhibited nationally in museums and galleries.
