About the Route
The Lights one-mile walking route is designed to highlight the best of the museum’s campus. From distinct building architecture to the beautiful sculpture park – including open lawns, wooded trails, water features, and thoughtful artworks.
Holiday Delight!
Cedarhurst’s public buildings are accessible and welcoming to individuals with disabilities, and the museum has made accessibility improvements to its outdoor walking trails, One-third of The Lights one-mile walking route is a paved, blacktop surface, and the remaining two-thirds are an oil, chipped, and packed surface. It can be navigated with wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons, however some motorized assistive devices may have difficulty on inclines.
Our goal is for all to experience The Lights!
* This year we have two Accessibility Nights, to offer visitors the opportunity to see The Lights via a guide-driven golf cart ride through the entire route. The carts can accommodate up to 6 people per group, and special “cart-ride” tickets must be reserved in advance. (Regular ticket rates apply.)
