The Mt. Vernon Woodcarvers enjoy the art of woodcarving together when they meet on the first and third Mondays of each month from 7-9 pm at Shrode Art Center.

• 1st Monday – Members take turns demonstrating special techniques or lead the group in carving a specific figure or form.  Wood blanks provided free to members. 

• 3rd Monday – Regular carving session where members bring their own projects.

• Holidays may affect the schedule, moving a meeting date by a week. Check the Cedarhurst Calendar to confirm a specific date. Each meeting is a time of sharing skills, projects, ideas and good stories, too.  All whittlers and carvers are welcome.
