Matthew Cohen, violist, and Steinway artist Zhenni Li-Cohen join forces as the award-winning Li-Cohen duo. The husband /wife duo, inspired by America’s reputation as a “melting pot” of cultures was drawn to this concept because of the breakdown of barriers that it represents. With this as inspiration, the Viola Americana program was born, celebrating the uniquely American blend of multiculturalism and variety of genres assimilated within the medium of classical music.
